Chouhan boycotts BJYM meet over thin presence

Friday, 31 January 2014 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

Expressing annoyance over the thin presence in the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) convention, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan boycotted the programme.

The State-level convention held at the lal Parade Ground of the State capital was turned out to be a dump squib as only 250-300 youth turned up in it. Angry over the thin presence Chouhan did not reach the venue to inaugurate it. BJP national vice president and MP Prabhat Jha, who was also present at the stage, declined to address the Yuva Morcha workers.

Reports are that after the convention BJP state president and MP Narendra Singh Tomar and organisational general secretary Arvind Menon called on the BJYM state president Amardeep Mourya and expressed their unhappiness over the failure of programme.
