‘It is important to know candidates’ previous records’
For the parliamentary election various candidates are looking at your vote. Your vote is precious and if you will fail in choosing the right representative, then he will be a burden for the entire constituency for next five years so before casting your vote try to know everything about the candidates who are in the fray and then choose the right representative. This was said by the convener NBJK Girija Satish in a seminar held at University law College, Hazaribagh.
Addressing the seminar based on the topic ‘Right to Vote’, agricultural scientist of ICAR Shivendra Kumar said that every candidate makes many promises for the future but before choosing among them first go through their previous records. Whether he had kept his words in the past or not, must be kept in mind.
Principal law College Joydeep Sanyal first welcomed the guests and then gave a brief but informative speech on ‘Right to Vote’. He said that after so many years of independence it is really unfortunate that yet a large number of voters do not use their right which is important in making and shaping the country.
State member Suraaj Manch Srinivas Suraj Dayal, Bhaiya Mukesh and others also expressed their views on this subject. Rashmi Pradhan anchored the seminar while Indra Kumar Guru presented vote of thanks.
