The shopaholics of the city are exploring the most enchanting work on dress materials at the Chanderi Utsav 2014. The exhibition is being organized by Mrignayanee Emporium, Gauhar Mahal here from September 19 and is evoking a great response from the buyers.
A variety of more than 1000 designs in suits that are enchanting the female buyers this festive season are available at the exhibition cum sale. These suits have been designed in different patterns and prints. There are printed materials beautifully embroidered with Batik Print, Dabu Print, Hand-Block Print and one of the most renowned and loved in all seasons, Bagh Print. There is also a range of running material (Thaan) in different varieties as well.
The array of vibrant colours like green, ocean green and ocean blue along with shades of yellow, brown, sky colours and colours in contrast is captivating the attention. There is a wonderful collection of dress materials in Maheshwari, Chanderi cotton and Kosa Silk as well.
One could find traditional and designer dress materials other than handloom as well.
While talking to The Pioneer, manager of the emporium, Gauhar Mahal Arvind Sharma said, “We have introduced an affordable range of cotton materials and wears for the women.” He further said that the whole collection is from Madhya Pradesh State. He also said that this is a fresh collection and different from other collections of the emporium.
One could find the price of the suits and dress materials lowest from Rs 700 till Rs 15000. Elaborating further he said that there is a huge collection in Mulberry silk, crape, chiffon silk and cotton silk as well at the emporium for regular shopping. The exhibition cum sale would conclude on September 30.
