The State capital would witness thundery conditions in the next 24 hours and weather conditions would change, say weathermen.
Cold conditions prevailed during the day across the state on Tuesday and according to the Met department the weather would remain at harsher in the next 2-3 days. Bhopal recorded day temperature at 23.3 degree Celsius while the night temperature was recorded at 6.4 degree Celsius. Minimum temperature would witness slight rise in the next 2-3 days and the same change is likely to be witnessed in the day temperatures.
Cold wave conditions would be witnessed in the next 24 hours at several places in the state. The ground frost conditions would be witnessed in Rewa, Satna, Umaria, Malajkhand, Mandla, Tikamgarh, Gwalior, Guna, Datia, Shivpuri, Sheopur, Damoh, Khajuraho, Hoshangabad, Shajapur, Betul, Raisen and Rajgarh.
Hoshangabad region witnessed severe cold wave conditions on Tuesday and the same pattern would continue in the next 24 hours told the Met department. Pachmarhi has maintained to witness the night temperature around freezing temperature which was recorded at (-) 1.6 degree Celsius on Sunday. The night temperature was recorded 7 degree Celsius below the normal temperature.
Gwalior, Rewa, Chambal and Sagar would witness dense fog in the next 24 hours. Gwalior remained the coldest place among the major cities on Tuesday and recorded day temperature at 18 degree Celsius while the night temperature was recorded at 4.6 degree Celsius. A system is likely to be formed in the next 48-72 hours at adjoining parts of the Rajasthan which would bring weather change.
The lowest night temperature in the state was recorded at Mandla 2 degree Celsius, Umaria, Damoh and Raisen recorded 3 degree Celsius and Rewa, Sidhi,Tikamgarh and Betul recorded night temperature at 4 degree Celsius.
