Bank of India (BoI) Chairperson and Managing Director VR Iyer visited the capital city in her maiden visit to the bank’s Bhubaneswar Zone.
During her visit, the MD conducted business review of the bank’s Bhubaneswar and Keonjhar Zones. On the occasion, Iyer addressed newly-recruited officers and clerks of the bank and advised them to actively participate in social and economic development of the nation.
In her address, Iyer informed that the global business of the bank reached to the tune of Rs 8.53 lakh crore as on March 31, 2014. Of these, the total deposit stands at Rs 4.77 lakh crore while loan disbursement was Rs 3.76 lakh crore.
