Every one should donate blood as it could be life saving for some one. The Mayor of Dehradun Municipal Corporation Vinod Chamoli said this at a blood donation camp organised to commemorate the 65 anniversary of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) here on Sunday.
Congratulating the ICAI for organizing the blood donation camp Chamoli said that Chartered Accountants (CAs) are integral part of our economy and it is appreciable that apart from doing their business the CAs are also engaged in social responsibilities.
The President of Dehradun unit of ICAI Sanjay Gupta said that all the 44 units of the organization oraganised the blood donation camps in different parts of the country.
He congratulated the CAs and CA students for enthusiastically participating in the programe.
In the blood donation camp 150 units of blood was collected. Senior Chartered Accountants who completed 25 years in the business were also felicitated on the occasion.
The treasurer of Dehradun unit P K Goyal, N K Gupta, Sanjay Goyal, Ankur Gupta, Ajay Khatak, Ravi Maheswari, Pawan Gupta and others were present on the occasion.
