To woo the traders and industrialists of Chandigarh ahead of upcoming lok Sabha polls, Chandigarh BJP organised a live telecast of its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s speech on Economic Growth — the Way Forward on Thursday.
Modi addressed the Chartered Accountants Association conference in New Delhi on Thursday and the live telecast was organised at 29 different places across the tricity.
Barring few places, only party workers were seen attending the live telecast of Modi. The BJP failed to gather general public at most of the places where the live telecast was organised in the Tricity.
The city-based chartered accountants and economic professionals along with Chandigarh BJP president listened to Modi’s economic vision at Sector 34 here.
Giving more details on the live telecast of the speech, Sanjay Tandon said, “Modi touched upon Centre-State relationships and said that relations between Chief Minister and Prime Minister should improve.”
