C Babu Joseph, executive trustee and CEO Axis Bank foundation, Mumbai on Saturday inaugurated the Rozgar Training centre where Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra is going to make true their ambitious programme for sustainable livelihood. Joseph inaugurated the centre at Kali Bari Road Hazaribagh by cutting the ribbon in presence of a good gathering.
Addressing the youth and distinguished denizens of Hazaribagh CEO Axis Bank, C Babu Joseph said that the Axis Bank foundation is working in Jharkhand with the help of NBJK since last four years. We are running remedial coaching centre for poor and rural area students of class X and XII and now we are starting training centers with a vision to make the youths of Jharkhand self reliant.
Joseph informed that under this program we aim to provide vocational and soft skill training to 21,600 unemployed youths from marginalized background in next four years. We will give them placement services also. Our emphasis will be making the youth self reliant and a good citizen of the State and country.
In his welcome speech Satish Girja, secretary NBJK said that their organisation is going to start such training centers in other districts of the State also. At these centers youths will get training of computer hardware, software, mobile repairing, tailoring, driving, electrical items repairing, motor vehicle repairing, typing etc.
Rajesh Jha, Circle head Axis Bank said that under our corporate social responsibility the foundation always remains active and for it we have a special fund raised by a part of banks profit and employees contribution. He hoped that this program will help the youths of Jharkhand in the days to come.
On this occasion officials of Axis Bank, State Bank of India, lIC, NBJK and number of distinguished denizens of Hazaribagh were present. Vote of thanks was given by center coordinator Mallick.
