The Head Post Office (HPO) here has rolled out the Core Banking Solution (CBS) facility to become the first CBS Post Office of Cuttack South Division and third CBS Head Post Office of Head Quarter Region.
Chief Post Master General, Odisha Circle Tilak De inaugurated the CBS facility on Monday and said that the service aimed at making the Postal Department technology-oriented and provide services to the customers as in a bank. It would enable customers to operate their bank accounts and avail banking services from any post office on CBS network, he added Besides, it has become the sixth CBS Post Office under the Odisha Postal Circle next to the Bhubaneswar GPO.
