Valuables worth Rs 16 lakh were recovered from three miscreants who were nabbed from Sargam Talkies area by the Crime Branch on Friday. The three miscreants were identified as Pawan Arya (30), Abid Khan (22) and Rohit Pal (24).
Acting on a tip-off, the police questioned the three youths travelling in a stolen Honda Brio car. They admitted that the car was stolen from the house from where the valuables were also burgled.
The miscreants targeted colonies which were located on the main road so that they could make good their escape easily without being noticed by anyone. They have also confirmed burglaries in Ayodhya Nagar.
Car, gold ornaments and silver ornaments worth Rs 16 lakh were recovered from the three miscreants. Pawan and Rohit are habitual offenders while Abid works as driver and agriculture labour. Police are searching their criminal records.
