Govt transfers four officers
Bhopal: The State Government has given new postings to four State Administrative Service officers. Amarjeet Singh Panwar, Chief Estate Officer, Madhya Pradesh Housing Board has been posted as Joint Collector at Sehore, Shikha Poras Narwal, Deputy Collector Mandsaur at Panna. Ram Prasad Verma, Deputy Collector Mandsaur was earlier posted at Sagar. Now amending this order, he has been posted at Ratlam. Services of Ashwini Kumar Rawat, Deputy Collector Shivpuri have been handed over to Transport Department on deputation to be posted as Regional Transport Officer.
Krishna inspects health services in 3 districts
Bhopal: Principal Secretary Health and Family Welfare Praveer Krishna inspected health services in Ujjain, Sehore and Raisen districts last week. The Principal Secretary directed doctors and other staff to provide proper treatment and behave well with patients. The Principal Secretary inspected hospitals of Harda district on Tuesday. Praveer Krishna will inspect health centres and hospitals in Hoshangabad district on December 31.
Vande Mataram to be recited on New Year
Bhopal: National Song Vande Mataram will be recited on the first day of New Year — January 1, 2015 at Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Park in front of Mantralaya at 11 am. General Administration Department has asked officers and employees of all departments to participate in the event.
Prohibitory order from Jan 1 to March 31
Bhopal: During January 1 and March 31, 2015, Collectors and District Magistrates can use Sub-Section (2) of Section (3) of National Security Act within local limits for maintaining communal harmony. Home Department has published a notification to this effect in Madhya Pradesh gazette.
Fines worth Rs2 lakh imposed on officials
Bhopal: So far, fines worth Rs2.10 lakh have been imposed on 44 officers of various ranks during year 2014-15 under Pubic Services Delivery Guarantee Act in the State. It is noteworthy that under this novel Act, fine from Rs250 upto Rs5,000 was realised from concerning officers for not delivering desired services within time-limit and the amount thus realised is given to applicant. In November alone, fines worth Rs10,000 were imposed on four officers. Pubic Services Delivery Guarantee Act is under implementation in the State since year 2010.
Under the Act, public services of various State Government departments are delivered to people within time-limit. Earlier, 102 services of 21 departments were notified under the Act. Recently, 26 more services have been added. Through 336 public service centres in the State, 48 notified services of 15 departments are being provided to people online. A new chapter has been added in delivery of services online. Apart from 48 earlier services, 20 other notified services of Planning, Economics and Statistics, Public Health Engineering, Urban Administration and Development, Revenue, General Administration, Women and Child Development and Home departments have been made online. With this, number of services being delivered online has gone up to 68. Software for the services has been developed by NIC.
Antar Singh releases calendar
Bhopal: labour, Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Minister Antar Singh Arya released calendar of Madhya Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board for year 2015. Board’s Secretary SS Dixit and Assistant Secretary Deepa Tulsi were present on the occasion. The calendar displays schemes of the Board for welfare of labourers and their family members in an attractive manner.
82-year-old donates eyes after death
Bhopal: Eyes of an 82-year-old deceased Preeti Mittal of S-3 Divya Homes, Shyamla Hills, have been donated to Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital by his next of kin on Monday. Deceased Preeti had already pledged to donate her eyes during his life time. She had belief in Sant Hirdaram. With this donation two blind persons could now get the eye-sight. Trustee of Sewa Sadan lC Janiyani told that this donation of eyes will encourage others in large. The family of the deceased has put forth example of selfless service to the society. The society will always be obliged to them for this pious cause. Janiyani further informed that as many as 1174 eye transplantation have yet been performed in Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital. He expressed gratitude to the family members of the deceased person.
Three armed miscreants arrested
Gwalior: On a tip off, the police arrested two armed miscreants planning dacoity at the house of a trader. Two miscreants managed to escape while three others were arrested by police. The police are interrogating them. The police also arrested four armed miscreants during checking. According to the police, the informer tipped that the armed miscreants were hiding in Patai village under Mohana police station area. On receipt of information, the Addl SP rural Yogeshwar Sharma formed two teams to cordon of the miscreants. The police arrested Virendra Jatav, Babu Jatav and Ram Kishan Dhanuk and recovered two revolvers, three live cartridges, two knives and one iron rod.
Two of their associates managed to escape. Meanwhile, the Jhansi road police arrested miscreants Ajit Kirar carrying a reward of Rs 10,000 in the murder of constable Vikesh the police are interrogating him. The CSP Maharajpura Vivek Agarwal said that Shera gang had absconded after committing murder of Constable Vikesh Gurjar of Maharajpura police station on November 12. The police had killed the Shera gang in an encounter while Ajit Kirar absconded. last night an informer tipped that Ajit Kirar was coming home. Acting on information the police arrested Ajit Kirar when he entered his house. The police are interrogating him.
