Vikram varsity VC submits resignation
Bhopal: Governor Ram Naresh Yadav has accepted resignation of Vikram University Ujjain’s vice-chancellor Prof Jawaharlal Kaul. Kaul will be relieved in the afternoon of December 1. Governor and Chancellor Yadav has nominated Prof Mahendra Singh Hada, head of education department, Vikram University Ujjain as vice-chancellor till appointment of a regular vice-chancellor.

Bhopal: Home and Jail Minister Babulal Gaur at a Bhumi Poojan function of 3 CC roads costing Rs 28 lakh at Misrod, Shriram Colony and Pallavi Nagar asked the local people to perform Bhumi Poojan here today. He said that if you perform the Bhumi Poojan of construction works, you will also monitor and feel responsibility for the same. Gaur lauded activeness of local workers and people in Bhumi Poojan. He said that apart from Bhumi Poojan, local people should also keep an eye on construction work. He performed Bhumi Poojan of a CC road costing Rs 7 lakh at Misrod Gandhi Mohalla, Rs 15 lakh at Shriram Colony and Rs 6 lakh at Pallavi Nagar. Kewal Mishra, Bhagirath Patidar, Chandramukhi Yadav, Jitendra Upadhyay, Kishore Patel, Santosh Degoliya and local people were present on the occasion.
Tableaux On Children’s Theme On Republic Day
Bhopal: Tableaux on the theme “Nurturing The Future: Madhya Pradesh for Children” will be displayed at the main function of Republic Day 2015 at Bhopal. This was decided at a meeting of General Administration Department chaired by Director General of RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration Indraneel Shankar Dani here today. Principal Secretary Culture Manoj Shrivastava was also present on the occasion. All heads of departments have been asked to nominate nodal officers for this and chalk out a summary note of the design, concept, model and theme. Next meeting of the committee will be held on December 16, 2014.

Bhopal: Higher Education Minister Umashankar Gupta will participate in local programmes at Dhar on November 30. Gupta will take part in lecture series at Personality Development Cell of Government Holkar Science College, Indore on December 1. The Higher Education Minister will return to Bhopal in the night.
state receives 83 per cent quota of urea
Bhopal: Over 83 per cent of the allocation of quota of urea for October and November has been received by Madhya Pradesh from Government of India. Remaining quantity will be received with the quota of December. Urea fertilizer is needed more after sowing of wheat. As per authorised information, rakes of Khandwa, Mangalia, Mandideep/ Itarsi, Gwalior, Harpalpur, Morena, Ratlam, Piparia, Pachor, Dewas, Piparia/Itarsi, Vikram Nagar are in transit. Everyday, 5-6 rakes are being received. Supply is being made constantly as per demand. The state government is in constant touch with Government of India to make adequate quantity of urea available to farmers. Farmers will not have shortage of urea during Rabi season. Rabi sowing operations are in progress fast in the state. So far, 60 percent sowing has been completed. DAP Complex and SSP fertilisers are needed at the time of sowing. There is no shortage of DAP anywhere in the state. It is being supplied continuously.
