Minister inaugurates health centre

Koderma: Inaugurating an urban health centre built under National Urban Health Mission at Gumo under Jhumritelaiya municipal council on Monday State Water Resources Child and Woman Welfare Minister Annapurna Devi said that making health facilities available to the locals especially in the under privileged persons living in urban areas was Government’s priority.

“A health centre was needed for a long time in this locality. This hospital building was sanctioned in the year 2008 and the building was ready for use in 2009-10 but due to some technical problems the inauguration became late and late,” she said on the occasion.

Hearing on Sao’s bail plea on Oct 8

Hazaribagh: ADJ VII Court will hear the arguments of the advocates of absconding Ex-Minister Yogendra Sao on October 8. Meanwhile the court has called for the records like case dairy and proceedings held in lower court till date. On Saturday the advocate of Yogendra Sao had filed anticipatory bail petition in the court of District Judge. The district judge transferred it in ADJ VII Court where both Sao’s and Government’s pleader argued on behalf of their clients.

Science exhibition held at JNV

lohardaga: A zonal science exhibition was organised at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Jogna. It was inaugurated by N Ramalingam, the assistant commissioner of JNV Samiti Patna. In exhibition the students of Bardhman, Ranchi, Katihar, Aurangabad and other 24 districts of the zone exhibited their models. It included 12 models of Science and Social Science each and eight models of Information Technology and SUPW. A total of 12 models will be selected by a jury of three members. The selected models will be exhibited again in JNV Raipur Chhattisgarh from October 9 to 11 in a national level camp.

Mahindra honours its dealers

HEC built crane inaugurated at BSP

Ranchi: Yet another crane built by the HEC was inaugurated at Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) by ED (Projects), SAIl, SK Pradhan on September 26. Moments were shared by HEC officials at BSP site. Members from various agencies also marked their presence on the occasion. The crane has been in-house manufactured by HEC with only electric items and DSl as the bought-out components. The scope includes design, engineering, manufacturing, erection, testing & commissioning for HEC. The load testing of the crane will take place in a couple of days.
