Madhusudan Jayanti observed in Jajpur
Jajpur: The Madhusudan Das Jayanti was celebrated at Jaraka in Jajpur district on Monday. The celebration was inaugurated by Captain Trilochan Biswal, who urged Odias to work for a dynamic, developed and vibrant Odisha. English Prof Manoranjan Mohanty was the chief speaker on the occasion, lecturer Radheshyam Sahoo, poet Padmaja Saran and Rajkishor Padhi graced the occasion as guests of honour. The meeting was presided over by Debabrata Rout, Sambhav editor Akhil Swain introduced the guests. Among others, State Youth Congress secretary Manas Kar and youth leaders Mihir Khuntia and Kalptaru Sahu, intellectuals, writers, social workers and students attended the meeting. Girl drowns in canal in Ali
