Joda environmentalist Mishra awarded PhD
Joda: Eminent environmentalist and retired school teacher Niladri Bihari Mishra of Joda in Keonjhar district was awarded with PhD by the law International University of Satara in Maharashtra for his achievement in environment and balanced development on March 23. Earlier, he had received the Environmental Commonwealth Award in landon. He was also honoured at the international conference in South Africa for his essay on environment.
Two drown in Koraput river
Koraput: Two persons drowned in river Patali at Gumagoda in Koraput district on Sunday. They were identified as Bhagyashree Buruja and Rozy Khara, local sources said.
