The Cleantech SIG, local chapter, along with Canyon Consultancy Private limited will organise the Odisha Solar Conference for the third consecutive year here on October 31. The event is supported by the Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
There will be around 200 delegates who would attend the conference.
State Energy Minister Pranab Prakash Das will inaugurate the conference. Other dignitaries who will be present include Advisor to MNRE and Director General of National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) Dr Praveen Saxena and Principal Secretary, Forest and Environment, RK Sharma.
Other leading personalities from solar sector such as Additional Chief Secretary, New & Renewable Energy Department of MP Government SR Mohanty, GEDCOl and GRIDCO MD Hemant Sharma, Solar Energy Corporation of India MD Dr Rajendra Nimje, NREDCAP, Andhra Pradesh Government VC and MD M Kamalakar Babu, CESU Chairman Bijoy Kumar Misra, Director of Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy Dr Arun Tripathy, Aditya Birla Group solar division head Gajanan Joshi, Nalco DGM (BD) BK Das, Crux Power Director (BD and Strategy) Swayam Prakash Baral will speak.
