Congress MlA Asif Mohammad Khan on Thursday disrupted Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s one month anniversary media briefing, demanding an SIT probe into the Batla House encounter case and deriding his Aam Aadmi Party Government as liars. Kejriwal, who had promised a probe into the encounter before Delhi Assembly polls, expressed his inability to order an SIT probe that irked the Okhla MlA Asif Mohammed Khan.
He demanded to know why the reopening of Batla House encounter case has not been ordered especially after the Government has pushed for an SIT probe into the anti-Sikh riots of 1984. Khan even said he would go against his party (Congress) line and not vote for the Government on any matter.
“These people are making false promises. They have betrayed Delhi. The Congress should withdraw support. This AAP Government is Radio Jhoothistan and Kejriwal is director of Radio Jhoothistan,” Khan said. The CM’s security tried to stop Khan but he kept shouting. later talking to The Pioneer, the Congress MlA said that he would not support the Government on any Bill in the Assembly even if he was expelled from the Congress. The Congress MlA said that Kejriwal is making fool to people of Delhi and doing nothing. “He is lying, lying and lying,” Khan said.
