In daddy’s footsteps!

Kristen Bell has compared baby lincoln to ‘pre-sobriety’ Dax Shepard. The former Veronica Mars star who is engaged to the 38-year-old actor gave birth to their first child on March 28, 2013 and joked their daughter is following in her father's footsteps as she “poops her pants” and avoids “paying rent”. She wrote on Twitter: “My new roommate poops her pants and doesn't pay rent...basically Dax Shepard pre-sobriety. Welcome baby lincoln.” The couple broke the news on the social networking site when Dax also joked as he made the announcement to his followers. He revealed: “lincoln Bell Shepard is here. She has mom's beauty and dad's obsession with breasts. Hooray!” Their sense of humour was present throughout Kristen's pregnancy, with the 32-year-old actress saying earlier in the year she wanted to be “hit in the face with a baseball bat” during birth. She said: “I feel like, when I arrive at the hospital, I want a glass of whiskey, I want the epidural in my back and I want to get hit in the face with a baseball bat.”

Olympus has travelled

Gerard Butler went on a round-the-world trip to get over the stress of Olympus Has Fallen. The Scottish star revealed that the pressure of the film forced him to travel the globe as a way to relax once filming ended. He told DigitalJournal.com: “I've been making Olympus for a long time, so I thought it was time for a break. I decided to travel. In the past six or seven weeks, I have been to Scotland, England, Italy, Switzerland, Thailand, Mexico and Columbia — all for different reasons. But, the real highlight for me was becoming a monk in Thailand. I was hiding out in temples a lot.” Gerard, 44, admitted to combining roles both in front of and behind the camera was tough and he went insane trying to balance them.

Fixing it up with a slight fix

Ironman series actress Gwyneth Paltrow treats her children with a cola of the week to give them a break from their healthy-eating regime. The actress — who has daughter Apple, eight, and son Moses, six, with Coldplay singer Chris Martin — has put her family on a strict low-carb, gluten-free diet but occasionally lets them cheat. She wrote in her Goop newsletter: “They love a brown rice stir-fry, but they also love their 'Coke of the week'. “My daughter gravitates toward fresh fruit and raw nuts but will inhale a bag of hot Cheetos at the airport. It's all about balance.”

She admitted while she tried to bring up her children on “the right foods”, Oreos became the family’s favourite, and the rules are relaxed when they're eating out.
