Chhattisgarh Government on Saturday has given administrative approval of Rs26 crore 95 lakh 31 thousand for water augmentation schemes of three Nagar Panchayats in newly-formed Baloda Bazar district. Out of the total fund approved, Rs9 crore 71 lakh 90 thousand have been approved for Nagar Panchayat Bhatgaon, Rs6 crore 34 lakh 39 thousand have been approved for Nagar Panchayat Tundra, and Rs10 crore 87 lakh 2 thousand have been approved for Nagar Panchayat lavan.
The approval orders have been released by PHE department from Mantralaya. Minister Kedar Kashyap has instructed the concerned officials to complete the implementation of schemes within the given time-limit. After completion, responsibility of operating and monitoring of the schemes will be handed over to respective Nagar Panchayats.
