The Youth Red Cross wing of the Indian Red Cross Society’s Odisha State Branch (IRCS-OSB) organised a three-day State-level refresher course for Youth Red Cross Counsellors, which ended on March 27.
The main purpose of the camp was to revisit the activities, programmes and objectives of the Youth Red Cross with a view to strengthening the YRC movement in the State. “Youth must be properly utilised, and we should make them happy and free so that they could work for the country in a congenial atmosphere,” said Utkal University Prof Anup Dash while addressing the YRC Counsellors.
Director of Higher Education Satyakam Mishra was the chief guest of the valedictory function while IRCS-OSB secretary Dr Mangala Prasad Mohanty and YRC Officer Sarita Supkar were present.
