With elections approaching round the corner political activities in Madhya Pradesh have warm up, in a similar development queen of Panna Jeeteshwari Devi Singh joined Samajwadi Party (SP).
Convener of the third front in the State and SP State president Gauri Singh Yadav while talking to the mediapersons here on Saturday informed that the third front would contest on all the 230 Assembly constituencies of the State and the SP would contest on 150 constituencies while on the rest 80 constituencies its allies would field their candidates.
Yadav claimed that it would be impossible for any party to form the Government without the support of third front in Madhya Pradesh after the 2013 Assembly elections for the constitution of the 14th Assembly of State. “The front would launch a Statewide drive titled as ‘Congress-BJP Hatao Abhiyan’ (Remove Congress-BJP drive) from the first week of April to provide an alternative of BJP and the Congress to the people of the State,” Yadav said.
He said that the third front in State is already having over half-a-dozen political outfits in its kitty and hoped that the number would go up in near future. Senior leader of our ally partners have already discussed the seat sharing in a meeting held few days back and the next meeting for that is scheduled for April 4, he added.
The SP State president said that the people of the State have fed up with the rampart corruption in the State and are desperately looking for an alternative of BJP and Congress. The third front constituted under the banner of SP would meet the expectations of the people of State, he added.
He said that the manifesto of the SP would be the same on which the party went to people in the neighbouring Uttar Pradesh, the ally partners are also agreed on in except for one or two issues. Congress and the BJP win elections through management but the third front would emerge victorious with the support of the masses, he added.
Singh after joining the SP said, “I have joined the SP without any condition and that I do not wish to contest election and have not joined the party for getting ticket in the Assembly elections.”
