Jamshedpur MP Ajoy Kumar launched the website of Islamic Career Circle, a city-based social organisation working for the welfare of the less privileged students, during a function organised in the city.
In his address to the gathering Kumar lauded the efforts of the organisation and assured of all possible help. He said that the education is the only mean to transform the society for the betterment and the people must strive for it.
SRA Rizwi Chabban, chairman, Islamic Career Circle said that the objective of the organisation is to work as bridge between giving and receiving ends so that less advantaged people become equal partners in the progress of society and nation.”We are working in the field of education, health, employment generation and to ward off evils prevalent in the society,” he noted.
Prof. Aatif Gulrez said that Urdu Academy is the need of the hour and there is an urgent need to make the language applicable in the professional field so that young blood can make career from it.
He said demand for setting up an academy to promote this language has been ignored by the State rulers. There is no reason why the State authorities should not fulfill their constitutional obligation. On behalf Islamic Career Circle, a memorandum was also handed to the chief guest.
A seminar on the challenges of media was also organised on the occasion. Dr Neha Tiwary of Karim City College and educationalist Kalyani Kabir was also present on the occasion. Apart from this, 20 journalists from different media houses were also felicitated during the function.
