Stern instructions have been released to the medicos to immediately report suspect swine flu cases to the administration. Keeping in mind the intensity of the disease, the Doon Hospital administration has already reserved beds for the suspect cases.
Since the flow of tourists is high in the State, the State health department has been instructed to remain alert round the clock in order to prevent turning swine flue to epidemic in the near future. Considering this, Doon Group of Hospitals has also pulled up its socks for providing best and immediate medical relief to suspected and confirmed swine flu cases.
Officials told that isolation ward is already kept on high alert for providing immediate medical relief to suspect and confirmed cases.
He further told that two suspect cases were reported in the State but patients were from neighbouring State.
While informing about prevailing rate of swine flu in Dehradun, Dr Mahavir Singh, senior physician Doon Hospital and nodal officer, said that Rapid Response Team (RRT) comprised specialist doctors are already framed in order to tackle the disease in the near future. He said that no positive case has been confirmed so far and prevailing rate is very low in the State.
