Serena Williams claimed a record equalling sixth title at the Miami Masters here as she won the last 10 games to sweep Maria Sharapova 4-6, 6-3, 6-0.
Williams Saturday joined Chris Evert, Steffi Graf and Martina Navratilova as the only women to have won the same event six times, reports Xinhua.
The top seed rallied after dropping the first set to Sharapova, who had come into the title match with this month's Indian Wells trophy and 11 straight wins without losing a set.
Williams ended that streak as she won her 11th straight match against the los Angeles-based Russian, who has not beaten the American since 2004.
