Chashme Buddoor

The film is a remake of the 1981 film Chasme Buddoor which was picturised on Farooq Sheikh and Deepti Naval. The 2013 version of the film is directed by David Dhawan. The story revolves around a small house in Goa with three friends. Apart from wants the only thing that seems to keep Omi (Divyendu Sharma) and Jai (Siddharth Narayan) going is the women in Goa. But Siddharth Parashar aka Sid (Ali Zafar) wants a straight and simple life. The two womanising slackers, Omi and Jai, now attempt to woo the new girl Neha (Taapsee Pannu) in the neighbourhood. A series of lies, secrets and comical situations is what follows, making the flick a thoroughly enjoyable family outing!

The film also features Rishi Kapoor as lallan Miyan, lilette Dubey as the landlady, Anupam Kher in a triple role, Juhi Chawla and Varun Dhawan also have cameos in the film.
