R&B star Rihanna has seen off competition from Beyonce and Katy Perry to be named the most influential pop star.
The 25-year-old topped the list compiled by '4Music' after an analysis of social media activity, airplay and press coverage, reported Sun Online.
Beyonce came in second, while boy band One Direction bagged the third position followed by Perry and Justin Bieber.
The 'Umbrella' hitmaker posted pictures of herself on instagram celebrating the win.
"I only know how to be number 1!! I could use a challenge... How dat feel down there on ya knees, HuhIJ!," she wrote.
Rihanna is famous for her tracks like 'love The Way You lie', 'We Found love', 'Where Have You Been', 'Unapologetic' and 'Diamonds'.
