A day after the State Government ordered a judicial probe into the Kumbh stampede, the Opposition said Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav was forced to order inquiry because of their pressure.
leader of Opposition in State Assembly, Swamy Prasad Maurya, said that the BSP has been demanding a judicial probe from the onset. “The administrative probe that was ordered by the Government earlier was nothing but a sham,” he told reporters here on Monday.
