Raipur Smart City Limited has decided to go for a water audit in urban areas of capital city to know the reasons of wastage of water in between intake well to the distribution point. The audit work has been assigned to a private agency URS Verification Private Limited.
According to official sources in RSCL, the company will suggest the ways the wastage of water can be prevented by conducting a detailed survey right from the intake well to the distribution point. The survey has to be done in the month of November.
Data of wastage of water from around 5000 places (5% of the total) all over the city will be collected by the agency.
After calculating the wastages, it will suggest the ways it can be prevented in its report within 4 months of the survey.
