As part of his tribute to the 44 CRPF jawans who lost their lives in militant attack at Pulwama district of Jammu & Kashmir, Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit fan Pappu Sardar has decided to set up a Sainik Park at Cheshire Home in Parsudih.

Pappu, who is known for carrying philanthropic activities, on Monday planted 44 saplings at the premises of Cheshire Home in the memory of the heroes of the nation. He said that he will develop the area as Sainik Park so that people can remember the contribution made by our soldiers.

In a function organised at Cheshire Home, floral tributes were paid to the martyrs. A two minute silence was observed in memory of the jawans. Pappu said that he will develop the park and will inaugurate it on the birthday of Madhuri Dixit on May 15. He said that the park will inspire people to remember the soldiers and also spread message of clean environment in the society.

Sardar said that he was touched by the incident in Pulwama so he decided to contribute in the name of Madhuri Dixit. “I know it’s just a small step towards the society. But I am confident that others will also be inspired,” he noted.

It may be mentioned that Pappu has been celebrating Madhuri's birthday since mid-90s and shot into the limelight for his attraction towards the actress. In 2008 he even got the opportunity to meet Madhuri. Moreover, his day begin with offering pujas for the actress. Such is his popularity that an American student carried a research on his personality.

“She is my idol, no one could stop me from serving the society, which is closer to my heart than any thing else in my life,” said Pappu, while accepting greetings from his fans who were present on the occasion.
