Man arrested for promising fake jobs

The MP Nagar police have booked persons involved in duping Bihar based youth to the tune of Rs 54000 in the name of facilitating job in Malaysia; accused had been posted advertisement over Facebook which trapped the victim.

Police said that the victim Mohammad Shahid Ansari has been duped by miscreants creating fake Bhopal based BI recruitment agency and duped victim of Rs 54000.

During the investigation it was found that few more people have been duped in other areas luring the same offer of facilitating job in Malaysia and possibly more cases of fraud of the same nature would be revealed by the victims who have been trapped by the accused.

Police said that the miscreants have posted advertisement over Facebook of jobs with good packages in Malaysia and after reading the advertisement victim contacted the accused who duped to the tune of Rs 54000.

The accused asked him consultancy fee, fee for facilitating visa and passport and deposited Rs 54000 in parts in different bank accounts.

The police registered a case of fraud against the accused and started further investigation.
