Enhancing Female Entrepreneurship in India (ENPRENDIA)”, a capacity building consortium project, was co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of European Union.
This consortium has eight Indian partners and five foreign partners including University of Lisbon (Portugal), Glasgow Caledonian University (Scotland), University College of Dublin (Ireland), Kinderburo University (Austria) and University of Santiago Compostela (Spain); and KIIT is the coordinating institution.
The first kick-off meeting was held at the KIIT recently where 24 representatives of all the partner institutions participated and deliberated on the roadmap and deliverables of the project. Under the project, several trainings and workshops will be organised in both India and foreign counterparts and Entrepreneurship Resource Centres (ERCs) will be created in all Indian institutions which will help promote women entrepreneurships. Such partnership will bring cross-border learning and build new collaboration in days to come.
KIIT and KISS founder Dr Achyuta Samanta congratulated the project coordinator Dr Mrutyunjay Suar (CEO of KIITTBI) for bringing such projects for a cause.
