JMM, Cong misled State’s 3.25 crore people: Pratul Shahdeo

Sunday, 10 November 2019 | PNS | Ranchi

Hitting hard on alliance formed by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Indian National Congress (INC) and former Chief Minister of Bihar Lalu Prasad Yadav-led Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), the State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday said that the leaders of alliance gave false statement about the alliance.

Speaking on the issue State BJP Spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo said that Congress and JMM have misrepresented the 3.25 crore people of Jharkhand on the issue of alliance.

Shahdeo said that Hemant Soren went to jail to meet Lalu Prasad and said that efforts are still on to keep RJD in the alliance. “Hemant also said that Lalu Prasad has a lot of questions on the issue and Hemant will also go to Delhi to find Lalu’s answer. This makes it clear that Hemant Soren is bowing down to the RJD’s blackmailing only to grab the Chief Minister’s chair,” he added.

“Both the leaders including the State Congress In-Charge, RPN Singh and Hemant Soren had said on Friday that all the talks with the RJD has been finalized but due to their busy schedule, the RJD leaders could not attend the press conference. Today it became clear that the real reason was blackmailing and Hemant Soren bowed down to RJD’s blackmailing just to get a chair of Chief Minister,” said Shahdeo.

The party Spokesperson said that Hemant Soren went to jail to meet Lalu Prasad and he informed that he met Lalu for his blessing for alliance. “Lalu Prasad the person who opposed formation of Jharkhand and he used to say that the State would be formed on his corpse. It is a matter of hurting the sentiment of the State,” he added.

Shahdeo said that without the policy and principles, the reality of the alliance formed only to grab power and it has come before the public. “From the beginning BJP has been saying that this alliance stands at the base of jail, bell, cell and black mailing,” he added.
