Issue less Opp shouting Modi Hatao: Hry BJP in-charge Jain

Sunday, 21 April 2019 | PNS | Hissar

BJP National Secretary Anil Jain on Saturday said the opposition was repeatedly shouting Modi Hatao, Modi Hatao since it had no issue during their campaigning in the Lok Sabha elections.

Jain, who is a Rajya Sabha MP and is also In-charge of Haryana BJP, was talking to media after the filing of nomination papers for the Hissar Lok Sabha seat by the bureaucrat turned politician Brijendra Singh.

Brijendra Singh’s father Union Steel Minister Birendar Singh, MP D P Vats and Haryana BJP President Subhash Barala were also present. Brijendra was a senior IAS officer of Haryana cadre who recently took voluntary retirement to contest from Hissar.

Jain said that BJP was saying Garibi Hatao (remove poverty), increase the security of the nation, eliminate terrorism, casteism, nepotism and dirt. The issues before BJP and its intention are clear, he added.

The BJP leader targeted Congress saying there was an atmosphere of chaos and uncertainty in the grand old opposition party which is also in a state of confusion.

He said though the process of filing of nominations for the May 12 Lok Sabha elections is currently on, the Congress has not been able to announce all the 10 candidates because no one is ready to contest on their behalf.

Due to uncertainity and lack of confidence in Congress cadres, the opposition party is repeatedly misguiding the people who understand everything and avoiding the Congress flag, Jain added.

He said the kind of atmosphere prevailing in Haryana and other parts of the country, it is clear that the people are inclined towards the BJP to ensure return for a second term to accelerate the process of development of various sections of the society.

Asked which party was the main competitor for the BJP in Haryana, Jain said that there is none. The opposition has not been able to announce their candidates so far; he said that the opposition parties were facing internal bickering.

He said on the other hand the BJP is clear on its issues and has many achievements of its five year rule to detail before the masses.
