District Collector, Anurag Chaudhary held a review meeting with departmental heads today to take stock of the various government projects and their current status.
During the review meeting held with the departmental heads and other officials of the District Administration at the conference hall of the New Collectorate today, the Collector said that no issues related to public interest can be taken lightly and asked the officials to take immediate and efficient steps to redress problems.
Chaudhary asked the officials to work with utmost sincerity for proper implementation of the various government projects. He further told the officials to prepare presentations about the various projects handled by them and their progress and present it in the next review meeting. About the CM Helpline, the collector said that many complaints are pending and asked the officials to immediately look into each and every complaint and apprise him about the action taken.
Collector Anurag Chaudhary also reviewed the sapling programme that was earlier initiated by the District Administration. Earlier the collector had asked those who were seeking arms license to show a selfie with a month old sapling and take the license. He had devised this environment-friendly condition to give a message to people to be serious about tree plantation. The collector said that targets of saplings will be fixed for each department and asked the officials to do everything to plant the maximum number of plants.
The collector asked the officials to make a lasting contribution with honesty, team spirit and focused approach in their respective areas. The meeting was attended by all the departmental heads of the district Administration as well as heads of the revenue and excise departments.
