As per the affidavit submitted by the BJP candidate Tirath Singh Rawat who has filed nomination from the Garhwal constituency, the candidate owns no vehicle in his name. However, his wife who is a teacher by profession owns a four-wheeler which cost Rs 3, 87,409 and a two-wheeler which costs Rs 43,264.
In the other details highlighted in the affidavit, Rawat has no criminal cases registered against him and the gold owned by him weighs just four grams costing around Rs 15,000 and silver of three grams costing around Rs 1,000. On the other hand, the gold owned by his wife weighs nearly 120 grams which cost Rs 4, 50,000. Silver owned by her is nearly 600 grams which cost Rs 24,000.
The cash at hand of Rawat was Rs 25,000 and his wife has nearly 30,000. The bank account details highlighted that Rawat has five saving accounts which have an amount of Rs 5,62,188. His wife has three saving accounts which have Rs 80,453. His daughter has Rs 39,707 in her account.
Rawat have three insurances worth Rs 5,49,256. The total amount owned by Rawat is Rs 11, 52,444, as per the affidavit submitted by him during the nomination filing
