The Bharatiya Janata Party State president and MP Ajay Bhatt greeted the people on peaceful conclusion of Panchayat elections. He expressed confidence that at the village levels, most of the victorious candidates will be of BJP and that the party will form the boards at the block and district levels.
Referring to the start of counting of votes polled in the Panchayat elections, Bhatt opined that it is clear the democracy is strongly rooted in the nation and State. The people participated peacefully and with enthusiasm in the Panchayat elections. The BJP is achieving a resounding victory in these elections with the party set to dominate at the village, block and district levels. In places the positions have remained vacant as no nominations were filed. The party hopes that the election commission will soon start the election process in such places, added Bhatt.
