15 students of Acharyakulam selected for ‘national contest’

In the 11th State-level Yoga contest organised by Yoga Federation of India, 15 students of Acharyakulam run by Swami Ramdev and his aide Acharya Balkrishna were selected for thenational-level event slated to be held in Rajasthan.

Over 300 students from 30 schools of the district had participated in the State-level event on Monday.

In the under-14 category of boys and girls, students of Acharyakulam won the maximum number of awards in the age group category from 8 to 10 years. Vivek won the gold medal while Sneha and Anukriti Kher won the silver medals.

In girls’ category, Paridhi Patel got gold medal.

In a 10 to 12 years category, Lata Gurung won gold medal and Shomil Tomar won silver medal.

The principal of the school Vandana Mehta greeted the students after they reached the school with medals in their hands.
