‘Samadhan Kendras’ inaugurated

Ranchi parliamentarian Sanjay Seth on Sunday inaugurated two ‘Samadhan Kendras’, the single-window centres for clearance of public grievances. As promised by newly elected MP, after winning the election the Samadhan Kendras were set up at Sadabahar Chowk in Namkum under Khijri Assembly segment and second centre was set up Chandil area of Icchagarh assembly segment.

The centre will address people’s grievances so that they don’t have to visit Seth for getting their problems solved. Inaugurating the Samadhan Kendras, Seth said, “After winning the elections, I had promised to set up Samadhan Kendras at all six Assembly constituencies falling under Ranchi Lok Sabha segment. Fulfilling the dreams and expectations of people, the first two Samadhan Kendras has been set up in Khijri and Icchagarh.” The MP claimed that in coming months, more such centres will come up in all four remaining Assembly segments—Silli, Hatia, Kanke and Ranchi.

The BJP campaign offices of Sanjay Seth have been converted into Samadhan Kendras. During Lok Sabha elections, through these campaign offices, Seth used to monitor the electioneering of entre constituency.

Seth said, “The centre will assist people for their online problems such as making of Aadhar card, PAN card, generation of birth and death certificate, submission of application forms for houses under PM Awas Yojana, Ayushman Yojana, Ujjwala schemes and other issue. I will personally go through all these applications and try to short out problem at the earliest. “ Administrative officers in the rank of BDO and CO will also visit these Samadhan Kendras to short out people’s grievances.

Seth, will personally visit all these Samadhan Kendras once in a week, so as to assess the functioning of Samadhan Kendras. The BJP MP said that people of Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency have elected a Chowkidar and it is his duty to safeguard their interest.

On the occasion, Seth also washed the feet of six senior BJP functionaries attached with Saffron party since Jan Sangh era. On the occasion, Khijri MLA Ram Kumar Pahan, Icchagarh MLA Sadhu Charan Mahto and BJP women wing president Arti Singh were also present.

Riding on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s magic, Seth contesting Lok Sabha election for first time defeated Congress heavy weight Subodh Kant Sahay with a margin of nearly 2.80 lakh votes. Seth, the first time MP has been working to solve people grievances of his constituency. Seth, in this connection has planned to construct a shed for labourers near State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD), so that they can have a proper place to sit while they wait for work and do not crowd on Ratu road. 

Moreover, last week a delegation of BJP parliamentarians lead by Sanjay Seth met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and raised the issue of revival of Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC) and setting up railway zonal office in State Capital.

The delegation informed the PM that Railway every year generates revenue of more than Rs  25,000 crore from Jharkhand. Presently, the Railway South Eastern railway zonal office is located in Calcutta. The SER zonal office should be shifted to Ranchi and after merger of Dhanbad Railway Division, a separate Railway division should be created with its headquarters in Ranchi.

Seth in the Lok Sabha has also raised the demand for according central university status to Ranchi University—the oldest and largest university in State.
