Inaugurating an ‘Akshar Pustak Mela’ here, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday urged the young generation to read, know and understand Mahatma Gandhi and work for a better world.
“Gandhiji was a prolific writer and every piece of his wrtings carries the message of humanity and sparkles with positivity. I wish our young generation read, know and understand Gandhi and work for a better world,” said the Chief Minister.
Among others, Tourism and Culture Minister Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi and noted social worker Krisha Mohanty were present. A photo exhibition on Mahatma Gandhi was held on the occasion. Krishna Mohanty gave three books on Mahatma Gandhi as gifts to the Chief Minister on the occasion.
