The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Odisha would organise a ‘Sankalp Samavesh’ here on December 9 to create consciousness among the Hindus regarding construction of a Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, informed VHP secretary Uma Sankar Acharya at a Press meet here on Friday.
Acharya also said that such type of meetings would be held in different places in the State like Baleswar, Brahmapur, Bhawanipatna and Koraput on the same day.
Besides, religious conventions would also be held from December 18 to 29 in the State, he added.
VHP Odisha president Dr Nagen Kumar Debta said that in coming days a committee would be formed taking Lord Ram followers from all walks of life to coordinate the programme.
Among others, Pramod Das, secretary Anand Pandey, Ram Krushna Khuntia, Jaswini Bal, Prafulla Mishra and Shyam Sundar Patri were present.
