Van conductor held for sexually assaulting three-year-old girl

Ayodhya Nagar police detained a 17-year-old school van conductor for sexually assaulting a three-year-old baby girl on Friday. Police said that the incident took place in the afternoon on Thursday when the victim a pre-nursery student, was returning home in the Ayodhya Nagar area in school van.

The matter surfaced after the victim reported the incident to her mother and revealed that the school van conductor was behind the atrocity.

A complaint was lodged with the Ayodhya Nagar police and based on the complaint accused was nabbed. In the initial investigation it was found that the accused was minor and later he was sent to juvenile home.

Police have registered a case under section 376 AB of the IPC and sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act were also imposed.

According to the police the accused confessed that he had seen pornographic material a few days ago which led him to commit the crime.

Meanwhile, Gautam Nagar police have nabbed a 28-year-old driver who sexually exploited a 26-year-old woman for the past 6 years; a complaint was lodged on Saturday.

Police said that the victim is a resident of Chhola and came into contact with the accused Aslam Hussain who developed relationship and sexually exploited her for the past 6 years.

In her complaint victim stated that she was acquainted with the accused since her school days and later developed relationship. She was sexually exploited on the pretext of marrying her but victim refused later to marry her.

Based on her complaint, the accused has been booked on charges of rape and was nabbed. The police have started further investigation into the matter.
