Veteran actress Shabana Azmi who was present as the chief guest during the concluding ceremony of the 11th annual day celebration of Unison World School on Monday said that she was happy to be present among the girls who have shown up their talent at the programmes organised at the school to mark the occasion.
“I am glad to be here amongst such bright students. The girls of the school have immense potential and performed brilliantly during the evening. All the performances were beautifully staged and the hard work behind the grand show was well reflected in them,” she said.
The celebration of the day commenced with an exhibition. To mark the day, the school band performed an Indian classical fusion orchestra, guitar ensemble, rock band and Panchbhutam–the musical show. The school year book was also released by Shabana Azmi.
The extracurricular achievements of the school were also highlighted on the occasion. The alumni Kamya and Revati also shared their experiences about what they had learnt from the school.
Shabana Azmi gave away prizes to the students who have excelled in academics as well as extracurricular activities across the year.
