Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh advocated positive use of social media so that people could know about developments being carried out across the country and avail the benefits. Addressing a workshop on social media in Lucknow on Tuesday, Singh said that social media had become an important tool in modern times. “But more often than not, it is misused. The time has come for the positive use of this media,” he said.
“I appeal to all party workers to use social media to spread the message of good governance of Modi and Yogi governments across the country. There are many people-oriented schemes which people are not aware of. Use this media to educate them,” the Union minister said. Local lawmaker Neeraj Bora and BJP’s IT cell incharge also spoke on the occasion.
Earlier, Rajnath Singh paid floral tributes to party ideologue Deen Dayal Upadhaya.
