Bharatiya Janata Party’s star campaigner and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday had to travel by road to Dharamjaigarh about 270 kilometres from Raipur after the helicopter he was travelling in, developed a technical snag.
He had reached Lailunga to address a public rally and was to fly to Dharamjaigarh. After waiting for an hour, he left for Dharamjaigarh by road.
Singh’s public meeting was delayed by two hours and his poll campaign ended at 5 pm sharp as was the case with all the party’s other star campaigners who were ensuring to reach public meeting venues on time.
