RJD supremo Lalu Prasad has been saddened by the train accident that took place in Amritsar on Friday night, said his daughter Chanda Yadav who visited him in Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences.
Lalu who is convicted in a fodder scam case is undergoing treatment at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS).
It may be stated here Lalu daughters Chanda Yadav and Rohini Acharya and Chanda’s husband Vikram Yadav visited Lalu on Saturday and discussed the latter’s health.
“He is deeply impacted by the incident, being a former railway minister. He said it was unfortunate that it took place during festivities,” Chanda said.
She added that she and other family members were not satisfied with the progress in her father health in RIMS. It may be stated here that even as Lalu went to vegetarian and simple diet during nine days of Navratri some of his vital parameters including blood sugar has shown improvement.
“I checked him today. His condition is stable”, said Dr Umesh Prasad of RIMS.
It may be stated here Lalu has observed the Navratri puja with devotion sticking to vegetarian diet during all nine days of the festivities. Vice president of Jharkhand RJD Rajesh Yadav said, “The entire family is devout. They celebrate each festival with zeal. Lalu ji also remained immersed in worshipping Goddess Durga and other deities during the past nine days”.
