The State unit of Bharatiya Janata Party has sought clarification on the status of farmer loan waiver and rate of paddy on the Minimum Support Price (MSP) as per the announcement made in the first Cabinet meeting of Congress Government in the State.
In a statement , State BJP Spokesperson Shivratan Sharma stated that after announcement of the promises made by Congress party to people of the State, it should have refrained from blaming the BJP government for the failure.
He said that the Congress party has got such a massive mandate so they should concentrate their work for welfare of the people.
Sharma said that the work done by the former BJP government in the State should be written in golden letters as farmers were provided interest-free loan, free and flat power tariff rate for irrigation pumps, bonus on paddy, enhancing the irrigation facilities besides various schemes were launched for farmers.”
“BJP government was working towards making agriculture as industry so that farmers did not require to take loan,” he said.
On SIT probe on Jheeram valley massacre , Sharma said that all the evidences regarding the massacre should be tabled before the SIT so that conspiracy and other angles emerge.
