The Bokaro police arrested eight hardcore criminals on Saturday from near Chorgawa and Eiyar villages located on the busy Mahuatard Road of Bermo.
Stating this here at a press conference on Saturday, Bokaro SP, Kartik S said the criminals were planning to loot when they were arrested following a tip-off.
The police seized one local made revolver, one live cartridge, two Pulser motorcycles,one scooty,one TVS Apache motorcycke two cell phones and cash amounting to Rs 10,650 and other incriminating documents from the criminals.
The SP said in course of interrogation, the arrested criminals admitted that they were involved in major crimes which included dacoities in road between Lalpania, Phusro (near Gandhinagar) and some places in Paterwar in district and several major dacoities in Hazaribag and Bokaro districts. He said this gang looted the private agent travelling in the Gomia-Phusro in the Bermo near jarandih Railway gate for which a case has been registered by the police at Gandhinagar and Mahuatard PS.
Missing youth’s body recovered from well in Kasmar in Bermo.
The body of 35-year-old Ravi Jaiswal son of Radha Govind Jaiswal, who reportedly went missing from Khairachatar village on October 18, 2018, was fished out from well near Mahavir Chok here on Saturday,said Rajesh Kujur, Inspector Jaridih circle.
