Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president and Rajya Sabha member Amit Shah called on Saint Yudhishtir Lal at Shadhani Durbar on Friday.

He was on a day’s visit to Raipur to address the booth level party workers meeting at Logistic Park and other events, in capital city.

Chief Minister Raman Singh, BJP State President Dharamlal Kaushik and other party leaders were present.

Shadhani Darbar is a prominent religious centre for Sindhi community where community members from Pakistan also arrive and offer their prayers.

Shah had directly gone to the Durbar from Airport.

He had called on the Saint as part of party’s nation-wide ‘Sampark Se Samarthan’ (Contact to Support) personal outreach programme to highlight the achievements of the BJP government at the Centre in the last four years.

Saint Yudhishtir, while interacting with Shah said that the mission with objective to revive the glorious past of India has been undertaken and the goal would be achieved.

In eternal religion (Sanathan) it is recognised that a righteous king should rule, the Saint said.

“To build our culture one need not to damage the culture of other. It is a national party which has truth and simplicity and at an international level also it has made a mark. On the sides of Sindhu culture, the Vedas have been evolved. After Partition, when the earlier generations came and settled, then like in food, the ‘ghee’ mixes every one merged into the country,” he said.

One protocol exists between India and Pakistan that regarding the visit of religious place, Shahandi Durbar is one of them.

He said that former Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani had visited it then he had directed the Chief Minister Raman Singh to regularly visit the place. “Today is my lucky day as I got a chance to visit 300- years-old Durbar. I had come to take blessings. In year 2017 had visited, and then the saint Yudhishtir had asked to visit,” said  Shah.

The BJP president further said, “I had visited Durbar of Sindhi Community several times. I Had also participated in several events which bring joy . I seek their blessings so that we can all be involved in reconstruction of the country and achieve success.”
