Agarwal couple adopts tiger cub of Kamla Nehru Zoo at Rs 2.32 L

Mhow resident couple Nipun Agrawal and Sakshi Agrawal has adopted a tiger cub at Kamala Nehru zoo Indore. They have deposited the one year adoption cost and expenditure Rs  2,31,721 for the upbringing of tiger cub which will included the food and other medical support and vaccination to the tiger cub.

Nipun Agrawal told The Pioneer that recently they have gone through an advertisement regarding adoption of tiger cub at local zoo Indore. They discussed the matter with their family members. His father Puneet Agrawal expressed his desire to adopt a tiger cub on the name of this grandson Nav. They approach the zoo authorities and enquired about the details of procedure and expenditure in this regards.

They decided to adopt that tiger cub on children’s day 14 November 2018 on the name of their child Nav. After the birth of the tigress cub in the zoo the zoo authorities intimated this to Agrawal family Mhow as they have earlier shown their interest for the adoption of the tiger cub. The details of expenditure have been given to the Agrawal family for every month.

The Agrawal family will bear the expenditure of the upbringing of tiger cub and the tiger will be property of zoo. The family which has adopted the tiger cub may visit the zoo according to their convenience to see the adopted tiger cub. As the tiger will grow every year the adoption charge will increase. Agrawal family may affix a poster having the information about adoption by their family on the premises of tiger stay in the zoo.
