1 killed, 2 hurt in bike, autorickshaw collision

A 40-year-old man died while his wife and a relative escaped with injuries after their motorbike was hit by a speeding loading autorickshaw at Billod Jod under Gunga police station area in the afternoon on Friday.

Three persons including a woman were injured after a motorbike was hit by a speeding loading auto rickshaw at around 12.30 pm, injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where one of the men was declared while two others escaped with injuries.

Deceased was identified as Ramesh Gaur while the woman was identified as Susheela Gaur and other person was identified as Arun whose relation with the deceased is yet to be determined. Susheela and Arun are undergoing treatment at Sai hospital. The condition of the injured is reportedly stable. 

The deceased was a resident of Unchi Laloi village. The three met accident while on their way to Bhopal. Police have started to search for the errant driver and vehicle. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and started further investigation. Meanwhile, a 25-year-old woman died who sustained burn injuries at Kutkipura under Gunga police station area on Thursday.

The deceased identified as Kala Bai sustained burn injuries at around 8.30 pm on Thursday and was rushed to Hamidia where she died in the early morning hours on Friday.

Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and started further investigation.
